Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
During the season 2021 and halfway through our preparations for the visit of His Holiness the Pope Francis in Cyprus, our Maronite Archeparchy is happy to announce the opening of its own website, offering this space of communication to the Virgin Mary and always asking her to grant us the grace to witness the Easter, the death and Resurrection of her Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
This website has two aspects: Its first aspect is informative in nature and it concerns the church through its various activities and pursuits. It is, up to a degree, the daily agenda in a global sense. Its second aspect is educational in nature, in the sense that it offers the visitors the opportunity for spiritual and cultural education through subjects and suggestions which reflect the Word of God and the teaching of the Church by going deep into and examining closely the message of the Gospel, bearing in mind the Eastern Aramaic and Maronite spirituality.
The website of the Maronite Archeparchy of Cyprus is an addition to all the other initiatives taken so far in order to activate the experience of faith which aims at our personal meeting with the Risen Christ.
I would like to thank all the people who contributed in the preparation of this website at a technical level and in particular all the volunteers of our Maronite Archeparchy who are doing a lot of sacrifices for the realization of this Ecclesiastical website.
